Scot, Just wanted to thank you for the reminder on what my real mission was when I accompanied some business prospects for a round of golf. That really paid off. Although my golf was forgettable the round was not. You made sure to remind me of what was important. I was at the course plenty early to make sure that all payment aspects where taken care of as well as any personal needs (lockers, logo apparel and food and beverage needs).

Instead of focusing on my golf game I made sure that their experience was the #1 priority. To enhance the experience I gave them a tour and some history of the facility. When all was said and done they took me out to dinner and were very interested in my line of work. As you mentioned, since it is not just all about business I now have an in. I have made some great contacts and hope to grow the relationship to a solid business relationship as well.
